Firm Impact
Making a firm impact - on society, on the environment, on your stakeholders. It is no longer credible to 'dabble in CSR' or to bandy the term 'sustainability' and refer only to the environment.
Organisations need to focus on how their strategy, their procedures and the choices that they make - about how they do business, with whom they do business and where they do business - impact upon others.
Lawyers and charities have to balance values, culture, ethics against key financial decisions that need to be made by them if they are to survive. This balancing process requires a broad understanding of the global environment as well as their own more immediate economic, social and political environment and how their organisations operate within that context. Business models are changing - stakeholders are changing their expectations - supply chain issues are at the forefront of many organisations' capacity building programmes.
