Firm Exchange

An effective executive board is a strategic asset, not an administrative function.

What is the purpose of a Board Exchange?

This programme will enable your executive board to further develop its impact and continue to develop its thinking, its processes and the value that it adds to the organisation.

In turn, this should enable the board to drive your organisation towards a more sustainable profit by increasing its ability to benefit from changes in your market place.

How does it work?

A facilitated half day workshop with the following characteristics:

We will work with you to introduce you to and/or identify other executive boards

  • The workshop will be with the executive board selected by you
  • That board will be an organisation in a different industry, which could be an existing stakeholder or a potential one if you so wish

We will work with you from the start to help you to identify and, at the end of the process, review the ROI you achieved as a result

  • Each board will present one or two current strategic issues with which either it is currently dealing or has just dealt
  • There will then be a general discussion of how to approach those issues.
  • The purpose will be to share experience openly and to identify common concerns and areas where each board might learn from the other

A subsequent debriefing meeting will enable you to reflect on what you learned, and what, if any, changes you would like to make to how you run your business as a result.
